The LEPC gives the students a hands-on experience in applying both quantitative and qualitative Economic tools to real world problems. This is modeled after the work in think-tanks that produce analysis and recommendations on socio-economic issues to improve policy decision making.
The competition is open to both undergraduate and graduate students from British universities and aims to encourage critical analysis of economic issues. It is jointly organized by the Economics Societies of the top universities in London in conjunction with RAND Europe, a world-renowned policy and decision making research institute.
This year, we are proposing a new component on top of the Research challenge- the LEPC Debate Challenge.
